Ask for extra tea options in the breakfast room, as they have a great selection that isn’t always visible.

Family travelers should take notes
The breakfast was outstanding, like truly. I mean, homemade pastries and cakes every morning? That’s the kind of luxury I didn’t expect. And the room was impeccably clean, it felt like no one had ever been in there. just fresh and new!
It wasn’t exactly bargain bin prices, but given the quality, it’s still reasonable.

The accommodation offers a unique charm with character decor and a wide variety of breakfast choices that give you plenty to enjoy every morning. Plus, the opportunity for fresh baked goods in the afternoons adds a nice touch after a long day of exploring.
During our five-night stay, the room received minimal servicing with only one full clean, which left some basic cleanliness preferences unmet. The windows in room 6 are quite low, limiting the view mainly to the car park unless you're sitting on the floor, and one of the panes was cracked, held together with tape. Wi-Fi was practically non-existent in the room but decent downstairs, and the design of the mattress left pillows slipping behind, resulting in a less than ideal sleeping arrangement. The lampshade is so large it became blinding when in bed, and a squeaky front door made for an annoying entrance or exit. While it may suit shorter stays, I found it lacking for extended visits, overshadowed by attention to unnecessary details like fluffy dressing gowns.

My stay at Summer Hill House was enhanced by the delicious homemade cakes available all day, and the exceptional breakfast choices, including the best scrambled eggs I've ever had.

The room was a delightful retreat, incredibly comfy with a posh bathroom. Location was perfect, just a hop away from the charming village. I’d absolutely recommend this place for a cozy stay!
Only downside? I’d have loved a personal milk dispenser, swanning down for fresh milk felt like an Olympic event! Just a small hiccup in my otherwise splendid stay.

The guesthouse boasts a prime location just a couple of minutes' walk from local pubs and restaurants, perfect for grabbing a bite after a day of exploring. Its clean, cozy rooms come equipped with decent amenities and provide easy access to picturesque walks right outside the door.
During my stay, the room was only serviced once over five nights, and even then, it wasn't fully cleaned. The windows in my room had low visibility, mostly offering a view of the car park, and one pane was cracked and held together with tape, certainly not ideal. Wi-Fi connection was nearly nonexistent in the room, forcing me to venture downstairs for a decent signal. the lamp design was such that the bulb shone directly into my eyes when lying in bed, not the most relaxing setup. There’s a squeaky front door that could use some oil, just small stuff that adds up over time. While I think the place is fine for a short stay, it may not really cut it for longer ones.

perfect spot for exploring betws-y-coed and its landmarks
During my recent stay, I loved how close it was to St Mary’s Church, just a short stroll of about 10 minutes from my room, and enjoyed relaxing by the tranquil views of the Pont-y-Pair Bridge, which was just across the bridge, making it an ideal location for leisurely walks.

Romantic getaway for couples
Honestly, we had a fantastic experience here. The owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home, which we really appreciated after a long day hiking. Plus, the breakfast? Amazing, I mean, freshly baked cakes waiting for us every morning is something you never forget.
It was kinda pricey, but considering the quality, it was worth it.

Clean and well-decorated room.
I experienced significant issues with the room. The wi-fi was atrocious. I could barely connect during my stay. the mattress didn’t fit the bed properly, causing discomfort throughout the night. Despite the charming decor, details like the squeaky front door and the cracked window really detracted from my overall experience.

The place was just lovely, with a super comfy bed and a bathroom that was spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge and the beautiful garden while sipping some tea. The shower pressure could’ve been a bit better, but honestly, it didn’t take away from my stay at all! 🌟
